Ark Royal

Discovery Channel was granted exclusive access to film a deployment onboard the Royal Navy Flagship HMS Ark Royal, little did we know when filming began that this would turn out to be her final voyage, and the end of an era. The campaign that Discovery UK Creative Produced is a poigniant celebration of the ship’s history and her highly skilled and loyal crew.

Frontline Battle Machines Campaign

This Campaign for Discovery’s UK Commission Frontline Battle Machines is one of the toughest briefs we had this year. After much debate in the media about the fitness of the equipment in use by British forces, Mike Brewer went to Afganistan to check it first hand. While the focus of the programme are the machines, what makes it even more compelling is observing Mike’s transformation as he can’t help being shocked and moved by the hardship and dangers of the war.

Bear Grylls is synonymous with, and exclusive to Discovery so what better way to promoted his Brand New series, than introduce him to the ultimate landscape: the Discovery logo. This spot was filmed with Bear and Directed by Meriem Adib and Robin Garnett with Lee Healy.
